Man shot and killed in Umbilo
A man was shot and killed in Umbilo on Monday morning.
Medics who were called to assist him on Sydney Road say he suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died on the scene.
The man, who's believed to have been in his 40s, was found lying next to his car near Blake Road.
He was assessed by Advanced Life Support Paramedics,” says Rowan Scandroglio, who is with ALS Paramedics Medical Services.
“However he had sustained fatal injuries and there was nothing more paramedics could do for him and he was declared deceased on the scene.
“At this stage the events leading up to the shooting are unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.”
