A man has died in a crash involving two vehicles - on Mount Batten Drive in Durban's Reservoir Hills area.

According to reports from the scene, one vehicle rear-ended the other.
Rescue Care's Garrith Jamieson says three other people from the second vehicle were hurt, and treated on scene before being taken to the nearest hospital.
"Just before 8am this morning, Rescue Care paramedics were called to a serious rear-end collision on Mount Batten Drive. On arrival, paramedics found carnage when two vehicles were severely damaged on the roadway.
"Unfortunately, one of the drivers believed to be in his fifties sustained major injuries and there was nothing more paramedics could for him," Jamieson said.
