Man found dead with locked chain around his neck
Three suspects arrested in connection to the murder of the man found in a car with a locked chain around his neck are expected to line in the Durban Magistrate Court today.
Brighton Beach police were conducting investigations on Flower Road on Tuesday, after receiving information about a man being assaulted by five people.
On arrival, officers found a parked vehicle with chains hanging out, on closer inspection the body of the 28-year-old was discovered inside the car.
Thembeka Mbele from SAPS in KZN says the police noticed a parked vehicle with chains hanging out and proceeded to inspect the said vehicle.

"Upon inspection of the vehicle, they discovered the body of a 28-year-old man with severe assault injuries and his hands and legs were tied up with a chain which was locked around his neck with a paddock."
The owner of the vehicle, his son and a friend were arrested and charged with murder. The other two suspects managed to flee the scene and they are still at large.
The deceased was allegedly assaulted after he was caught removing copper wire from the vehicle.
