Man faces murder charges for allegedly killing father, step-brother

A 23-year-old man accused of murdering his father and step-brother in their northern KZN home is due in a Melmoth court today.
The 40-year-old man and his 24-year-old step-son were hacked to death in KwaGqekwane on Monday night.
Police say a tip-off led to the suspect's arrest.

Spokesperson, Thembeka Mbhele says they've also recovered the weapon, believed to have been used to commit the crimes.
"One of the relatives went to the house - that's when he discovered the bodies. The bodies had injuries to the head and the body. They were found in one room," Mbhele said.
