Man dies after leaping from third floor in Durban home invasion

A man has fallen to his death while trying to escape armed robbers that had entered his Mount Edgecombe home.
Police spokesperson, Thulani Zwane says the two suspects are believed to have come into the man's third floor flat at a complex last night.
Zwane says the suspects tied up the man and his wife.
"The suspects took items from the house. During the robbery, it is alleged that a 45-year-old man jumped from the third floor, he fell on the ground and died," Zwane said.

He says the man's wife - who was traumatised - was taken to hospital.
