Man arrested for deadly Umhlanga pier shooting

A murder case has been opened after a man was shot and killed at Umhlanga Beach in Durban.
Tuesday morning's shooting happened on one of the piers.
According to witnesses, the 36-year-old victim got into an argument with another man, who then drew a gun and shot him in the stomach.

Medics say he went into cardiac arrest and efforts to resuscitate him failed.
Both men were with their families on the pier.
A 34-year-old suspect has been arrested.
