Man arrested in connection with Margate murder
Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with the rape and murder of a south coast woman whose body was found buried in a shallow grave last week.
Thando Madlala had been reported missing two days before her body was found at the Masinenge informal settlement.

Police have clarified that she was 22 and not 17, as previously reported.According to police, the suspect was the last person Thando was seen with. He was arrested at his workplace in Uvongo.

Thando's grandfather, Sibusiso Madlala says they welcome the speedy arrest, even though it will not bring his granddaughter back."We are very happy to hear that he was arrested. We have been yearning for him to be caught," said Madlala.
