A man will appear in court on Monday on charges related to the illegal trading of protected species.
Last Thursday, Hawks spokesperson Simphiwe Mhlongo said a team swooped down on the suspect after receiving a tip-off.
"The accused was advertising Pangolin on Facebook, and it was picked up by environmental affairs personnel who alerted the Hawks, and that information was followed up until an undercover operation was conducted."
