This was revealed by Trade and Industry Minister Ibrahim Patel on Thursday, during the National Coronavirus Command Council media briefing in Pretoria on alert Level 3 regulations.

It is a move that will boost South Africa's embattled economy.
During Level 4 around 1,5 million workers were permitted to return to work.
Patel said: "Under alert Level 3, many more economic activities will be permitted with something of the order of eight million additional workers that will be going to work potentially more depending on how many companies take up this.
"It means that almost our entire workforce will be back at work, although we should caution that the appeal has been made that those who can work from home should be enabled and encouraged to work from home."
