The Ministers who serve on the National Coronavirus Command Council will unpack Level 3 lockdown regulations today.

Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA) Minister Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma is expected to host a media briefing at 2pm, followed by the Trade, Industry and Competition Minister Ebrahim Patel.

Later, the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security (JCPS) cluster will also brief the media. This briefing is expected to happen at 5pm.

Following President Cyril Ramaphosa's announcement that the country will move towards a relaxed lockdown level, there's been confusion around some areas.

Under Level 3, religious gatherings have been allowed, but with no more than 50 congregants per service and no more than two services per week, tobacco sales are still banned while alcohol can be sold on certain days and times.
