Magashule meets with KZN MK vets to discuss grievances
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
ANC Secretary General, Ace Magashule is meeting with the leaders of uMkhonto weSizwe Military Veterans Association and other structures at the ANC provincial office in Durban.
The MKMVA in KZN has been complaining about a host of promises it says the ANC made to veterans years ago - but hasn't delivered on.
They and other groups have held several protests in the province in recent weeks. The KZN ANC leadership met with them last week, but it wasn't fruitful.

Outside the ANC's Durban's offices, MK vets have been joined by the All Truck Drivers Forum and Allied SA, who are hoping that Magashule will liaise with their leadership around their issues.
National spokesperson for the forum, Ngcebo Ndlovu said: "We want him to intervene in our grievances because last week we had a meeting, but our problem is at a standstill and were never resolved.
"We believe in Ace Magashule's intervention. ANC is government itself. So everything that is happening in the country is because of lack of leadership of the ANC, it's because of government negligence.
"So we believe what will come after that close meeting inside our organisation and South Africa will benefit."
