eThekwini failed to provide services to the Glebelands Hostel community: Madonsela
Updated | By Steve Bhengu
Public Protector Thuli Madonsela has released her findings into the recent violence at Durban's Glebelands Hostel - which has resulted in the loss of many lives.

The deaths were suspected to have been politically-motivated.
Her report, entitled " Stop the Carnage", is among five that she has released as she bows out after seven years as Public Protector.
Addressing media earlier at her Pretoria offices, Madonsela said eThekwini Municipality did little to stop the bloodshed.
Meanwhile, Deputy Public Protector, Kevin Malunga, who is also at the press briefing, has paid tribute to Madonsela - who bows out after seven years as Public Protector.
