Naidoo had been driving with his heavily pregnant girlfriend 22-year-old, Sonali Sewbran to Southport, when their vehicle crashed into the back of a truck on the N2 near Umgababa in January 2017.
Her family had packed into the court ahead of today's proceedings, only to find they will have to wait even longer until the case concludes.
Speaking to Newswatch this morning, Sewbran's father, Kiran says they just want justice for their daughter and unborn grandchild.
