LISTEN: Frustrated South Coast residents voice their concerns
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
South coast residents who've been without water for more than a week have gathered at the Ugu Sports and Leisure Centre in Izotsha to demand answers from authorities.
Premier Willies Mchunu has been at the centre to speak to affected locals about the impact the cuts have had and what government is doing about the situation.
The Ugu District Municipality believes municipal workers - whom it says are on an illegal strike - have been tampering with valves - shutting supply to many areas.

These residents - who were further frustrated by the premier's late arrival to the meeting - are asking why a state of emergency hasn't been declared.
