LISTEN: First signs of possible 2018 sardine run

Excitement is growing ahead of a possible sardine run this year.
There are hopes shoals will make their way to the KwaZulu-Natal coastline soon. This after recent sightings off the Eastern Cape.
The KwaZulu-Natal Sharks Board's Mike Anderson-Reade says activity has still been very quiet at this stage, but there have been some sardines, mixed with other bait fish, off the province of late.

Anderson-Reade says the water needs to drop to about 19-degrees.
