LISTEN: Durban drug dealer bust on the Berea

A 36-year-old man is due to appear in the Durban Magistrate's Court today on charges of manufacturing and dealing in drugs.
KwaZulu-Natal police, along with the Provincial Drug Unit, swooped on his operation in Canterbury Grove on the Berea last night after - receiving a tip-off.

Officers say the suspect had allegedly brought a batch of heroin, worth R600,000, in from Tanzania.They believe the drug was then going to be mixed for distribution in Durban.
The police's Nqobile Gwala says the street value is an estimated R2-million:
