Level 1 maritime regulations outlined
Updated | By Nothando Mkhize
Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula has outlined a number of regulations on how the maritime industry will operate under lockdown level 1.

He was speaking from the OR Tambo International Airport yesterday, where he clarified on the easing of restrictions on international travel.
Travel came to a halt as one of the means to curb spread of covid-19.
Mbalula says passenger ships also come with a few restrictions.
"Passenger ships are allowed to call in at any SA seaport but only for the following purposes: disembarking returning SA citizens, replenishment of fuel, stores and provisions, medical supplies, evacuation as well as search and rescue", he said.
There won't be any changes to public transport.
