Emergency teams have confirmed the death of one person in Mayville when floodwaters washed away several homes during last Tuesday's heavy storm.
"Emergency services responded to Cato Crest where there was a report that several informal dwellings had been washed away in the heavy rain that we experienced last night," says KZN EMS spokesperson Robert McKenzie.
