Law enforcement beefed up ahead of Easter weekend

Law enforcement is being beefed up on KZN's roads for the Easter long weekend.
KZN Premier Sihle Zikalala and Transport MEC Peggy Nkonyeni today launched the Easter Road Safety Campaign at the Mariannhill Toll Plaza.
Zikalala says Operation Vala will be rolled out across the province and motorists who are caught defying the coronavirus regulations and the rules will face the full might of the law.

"You will see more roadblocks in the province, you will see more of inspections and police even in townships. and the crackdown will be all over.
"We are working hard that law enforcement agencies are tightening on strings to ensure they curb the spread of COVID-19."
