Latest round of load shedding dampens KZN festive plans
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
East Coasters are worried about load shedding putting a damper on their plans for the festive season.

Eskom implemented stage 4 of the rolling power outages, saying that some generating units failed to return to service.
Durban's Munirah Khan says with the blackouts continuing, it won't be a merry Christmas.
"How do we plan around load shedding all the time? How do we stock up on food items when there is always load shedding? How do we plan on entertaining our guests when they come to South Africa?"

Nkanyiso Radede isn't hopeful about the government's energy recovery plan.
"There are people in place who do make sure they are broken so that they can have more money. There are people who are stealing coal so that they can have money. It is going to get worse, and looking at it they can put in solar measures, but the ultimate thing is to get out."
Meanwhile, Natasha Chetty says load shedding is a double blow to people struggling under KZN's heat wave.
"It is really sad because the elderly people and children are all suffering because of the heat."
