LISTEN: Latest on multi-million rand OR Tambo heist
Police have just released more details about their investigations into the cash heist at OR Tambo International.
SAPS spokesperson Athlende Mathe says officers are investigating allegations that a marked police vehicle was used in the heist.
Meanwhile, police have not ruled out the possibility that the heist was an inside job.
Hawks spokesperson, Hangwani Mulaudzi, says they still have to meet with Airports Company SA, and conduct security checks before coming to a conclusion about what exactly happened last night.
Sources say a total of R24-million was stolen. SAA says the robbery happened before one of its planes took off on an international flight & not on the aircraft.

In a statement issued by Acsa, spokesperson Trevor Jones confirmed the robbery - saying investigations are still at an early stage, and that updates would be provided once more information becomes available.
"No shots were fired and no injuries have been reported. The robbers fled and it is not known at this stage what, if anything, was taken during the incident," Acsa said.
