KZN's R34 reopens following truck blockade
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The Road Traffic Inspectorate in KZN says the R34 John Ross Highway has now been reopened after an hours-long truck blockade in the direction of Richards Bay and Nseleni.

The RTI's Zinhle Mali says it's understood that irate truckers blocked the road, over the employment of foreign drivers.
Mali says they managed to move the debris used to barricade other routes as well - and are in the process of towing the trucks away.

"We are going to tow away those trucks that are causing an obstruction on the road way, because we are mandated to ensure a free flow of traffic.
"Towing trucks away from that area is extactly what we are supposed to do."
