KZN weather: Motorists urged to be vigilant

Emergency personnel remain on standby as more heavy showers are forecast for KZN with a warning of possible localised flooding in the eastern and northern parts today.
Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs says eThekwini, Ilembe, King Cetshwayo, uMkhanyakude and the Ugu District Municipality are likely to be affected.
Spokesperson Msawakhe Mayisela is urging people to be ultra-cautious.

"We ask motorists on the roads to take it easy. Those who are able to suspend their journeys to please do so. We are also appealing to our people in low-lying areas to be very careful because rain is expected to last up until Thursday," he said.
