Updated | By ECR Newswatch
Wet conditions have swept across the province this morning.
The SA Weather Service's Aslam Sardiwalla says scattered showers and thunder showers are expected to continue today.
"From tomorrow, we will see more moisture which will result in widespread showers and thundershowers. Heavy rainfall is expected on Wednesday along most of the KwaZulu-Natal coast. This could be associated with localised flooding," he said.
Sardiwalla says conditions should improve by Thursday. However, showers can still be expected on Friday.
Meanwhile, the Department of Co-operative Governance and Traditional Affairs in KZN has placed disaster management teams on alert following the forecast from the weather service.
