KZN weather: Disaster teams on standby
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
Disaster management teams in KZN have been put on high alert following warnings of adverse weather conditions in parts of KZN today.
The SA Weather Service says heavy rain could lead to localised flooding on the north coast and the adjacent interior.
Co-operative Governance spokesperson, Lennox Mabaso says municipalities have been asked to prepare emergency shelters.
"We would like them to take heed of these weather predictions - they should use these weather warnings to prepare for their journeys and other activities," Mabaso said.
