KZN Transport welcomes probe into alleged misuse of funds

KwaZulu-Natal Transport has consented to a probe into the department, carried out by the Special Investigating Unit.
Allegations of misappropriation of public funds, misuse of government property and other claims of improper conduct by employees have surfaced recently.
President Cyril Ramaphosa signed proclamations, authorising the SIU probe into alleged fraud and corruption at the provincial department and the country's other government agencies last week.

The provincial Transport department's Mluleki Mntungwa says they are aware of the allegations.
Mntungwa they will comply as the statement was officially made by the president.
