It's alleged they tried to hijack a man while he was parked on Wick Street in Verulam on Friday night.
The police's Jay Naicker says the man became suspicious of the boys and tried to leave - but they blocked his path.
"They demanded his vehicle at gunpoint and attempted to force the doors open. He managed to drive out of the parking lot at a high speed whilst suspects fled the scene on foot."

"The driver spotted a police vehicle patrolling and informed them of what had occurred. Police immediately responded and the victim was able to positively identify four suspects," he says.
The four appeared in the Verulam Magistrate's Court.
