KZN teen dies in train surfing incident

Prasa in KZN says it's saddened by the death of another child on the railway, it's still grappling with the dangerous practice of train surfing at stations across Durban.
17-year-old, Sabelo Nxumalo, was electrocuted while allegedly train surfing at Effingham Railway Station on Saturday.
The agency's Zama Nomnganga says they've held awareness campaigns at schools to highlight the dangers of train surfing.

"As Prasa we are concerned because now we are putting our train crew in trauma, some are booked off because of these incidents. At the end of the day, these are lives that are lost and these are young children who are in school."
KwaMashu Railway SAPS is investigating.
