KZN taxi group appeals to Transport Dept after Tongaat shooting
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal
The Dolphin Coast Taxi Association has asked Transport MEC, Mxolisi Kaunda to help investigators get to the bottom of why its founder and his wife were gunned down in a brazen attack at the weekend.

Dicky and Saroj Govender were driving from Shakaskraal to Tongaat when gunmen travelling in another vehicle opened fire on them on Fraser Avenue.
Dicky died at the scene, while his wife succumbed to her injuries in hospital.

"We really don't know what caused the attack. We are seeking help from Mr. Kaunda. Maybe, he could come and help us sort the problem. Right now, we don't understand what the problem is," the association's Sunshine Mthiyane says.
