KZN storm causes flooding, road closures
Updated | By Lauren Beukes
The Department of
Cooperative Governance says the heavy storm which hit KwaZulu-Natal primarily
caused roads to flood in the province.

The department says
while disaster teams have not received reports of major incidents on Monday
night, they remained on standby on Tuesday.
"The only impact that we have received has been on the traffic flows, particularly in eThekwini metro and other coastal cities, where some roads had to be temporarily closed due to flooding," says spokesperson Siboniso Mngadi.
"Our teams are continuing to do assessments on the situation after last night's rains to ensure that incidents are recorded and reported to the public."
