KwaZulu-Natal is bracing for more heavy downpours on Tuesday.
The weather office says torrential rain is expected to lash the province again, with a level 6 warning issued for the north coast's Richards Bay and Hluhluwe areas.
King Cetshwayo and Umkhanyakude district municipalities are also urged to prepare for possible life-threatening flooding due to disruptive rain.
KZN's eastern region is also likely to experience a lashing.
Disaster teams across the province were placed on standby, ahead of Monday's storm.

Roads were flooded and trees uprooted when heavy showers battered Durban late into the evening.
Metro police spokesperson Boysie Zungu appealed to motorists to be extra-cautious on Tuesday morning, as some areas were littered with storm debris.
"Roads are wet in Durban, some of them flooded, we advise motorists to be more cautious when they're driving. Reduce speed, maintain a proper distance, lights on to increase visibility and ensure the safety of other road users."
