A KwaZulu-Natal serial rapist's name has been added to the National Register of Sex Offenders and the National Child Protection Register.
It's after the Scottburgh Regional Court handed Sakhile Mhlungu three terms of life imprisonment on Wednesday.
The 44-year-old pleaded guilty to a string of rapes and kidnappings committed over a period of three years in the Sawoti, Mnsinsini and Highflats areas.

His victims were as young as 11 years old - the oldest was 22.
The KZN spokesperson for the NPA, Natasha Kara, says it's understood that Mhlungu would offer the girls a lift in his vehicle and later attack them in a nearby forest.
She says the rapist was arrested after one of his victims positively identified him during an identity parade.
