KZN schoolteacher in the dock for rape

A KwaZulu-Natal schoolteacher is set to appear in court for
the alleged rape of an eleven-year-old pupil.

The incident is said to have taken place in Madadeni last week Wednesday.
The police's Nqobile Gwala says the teacher was arrested on Thursday.
"She threatened to be killed should she report the matter to anyone. The victim informed her mother what transpired and a case of rape was opened at Madadeni police station.

"The docket was transferred to Newcastle FCS unit for further investigation. The suspect was arrested yesterday morning by the FCS unit. The 53-year-old suspect is said to appear before Madadeni Magistrate Court for a case of rape."
