KZN SACP addresses secretary's arrest
Updated | By Nushera Soodyal, Lethiwe Mdluli
The South African Communist Party in KZN says it's deeply concerned about the handling of the arrest of it's secretary in the Umzimkhulu area.

Nhlanhla Zungu was arrested on Saturday on charges of being in possession of an illegal firearm, as well as ammunition.
At the time, he could not produce his firearm license.

The party's provincial secretary, Themba Mthembu says the news was sensationalised in the media.
"We woke up in the morning and one headline read 'The arrest of comrade Zungu might solve...' - that's sad. I said is this how far we have deteriorated?," he says.
