KZN residents asked to do more to protect animals
Updated | By Noxolo Miya
An appeal has been made to people in KwaZulu-Natal to prioritise and support the protection of animals.
The call comes as the country observes Animal Anti-Cruelty Month.
The KZN Animal Anti-Cruelty League says it's currently caring for almost 80 abandoned pets brought in by the community.
The non-profit's David Rogers believes more needs to be done to educate people about the importance of looking after their pets.
