KZN police urged to step up search for Amanzimtoti mass shooters

The loved ones of a family
massacred in Amanzimtoti's Mfume
area, south of Durban, are calling on the police to intensify their manhunt for
the killers.

Four people, including a child, were gunned down at their Ezinhlongeni village homestead in the early hours of Monday morning.
A woman believed to be their neighbour was wounded.
Police believe there were five attackers.

The IFP's Blessed Gwala says gun violence in the province is getting out of hand.
"Authorities must step up efforts to check the spread of deadly weapons in KZN. Mass shootings are growing exponentially. This calls for stricter gun regulations to stop gun violence."
