KZN police uncover drug lab at lodge in Point

Three suspected drug
dealers are behind bars following a raid on a lodge in Durban.

Police raided the property in Point during a sting operation on Thursday.
Provincial SAPS spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says two foreign nationals aged 32 and 46 and a 25-year-old local woman were found in possession of drugs worth around half a million rand.
He says the trio had turned the guestroom into a drug lab.

"Almost 12 000 capsules of heroin, 600g of heroin powder and 37 pieces of rock cocaine, with an estimated street value of approximately R500 000 were found in possession of the suspects.”
The three suspects will appear in court soon.
