Human remains found by dog near Tongaat home

The discovery of human remains in Tongaat has
re-energised a police investigation in a missing person's case.
A family was left shaken after finding a skull that their pet dog had carried into their backyard on Wednesday.
It's thought the animal found it in a bush near their home in Amanzimnyama

KZN police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says they're investigating an inquest docket.
"Police officers from the K9 unit and local police searched the area and found skeletal remains. DNA tests will be conducted to ascertain if the remains belong to a person who was reported missing in the area in November 2022."
