KZN police probe murder-suicide of mom, son

KwaZulu-Natal police are investigating a murder-suicide that claimed the lives of a 72-year-old Umlazi woman and her son - believed to have been the gunman.

Police spokesperson, Nqobile Gwala says the elderly woman was killed in their K-section home.
The man's wife was wounded and taken to hospital, after the shooting - that police think was sparked by an argument.
"A body of the 37-year-old suspect was found in a locked vehicle with a gunshot wound to the head at Bhekulwandle area in KwaMakhutha and a firearm was found next to the body. An inquest docket was opened for investigation."
