KZN police officer shot and killed on N2
A man, believed to be a police officer has been shot and killed on the N2 near Isipingo, south of Durban.
Rescues Care's, Garrith Jamieson says the victim was found in his vehicle which was parked on the side of the road.
"The man sustained a gun shot wound to his upper body. Unfortunately there was nothing paramedics could do for him and he was declared deceased on the scene," said Jamieson.

The events surrounding the shooting are unclear at the stage.
Police will investigate further.
