Updated | By Gcinokuhle Malinga
KZN police have made another copper cable bust the second this week.
They say two people have been caught with suspected stolen copper cables at a scrap metal yard in Isipingo, south of Durban.
The Economic Infrastructure Task Team pounced on the men, aged 40 and 43 years, on Tuesday.

KZN SAPS spokesperson Robert Netshiunda says transformers were also found in the yard.
"The team gathered intelligence on the suspected illegal activities happening at the scrapyard and an operation was planned. During the search operation, police found almost five tons of copper cable with an estimated value of just below a million rand. The suspects will appear in court soon."
Earlier this week, authorities said two other suspects had a hard time explaining to compliance inspectors how R3 million of Eskom and Prasa copper cables landed in their hands.
