KZN police probing N3 shooting involving off-duty paramedic
Updated | By Sandile Bhengu
KwaZulu-Natal police say they're still
investigating and haven't charged anyone in connection with a shooting on the N3 in
Durban.

Investigators say it involved an off-duty paramedic and three men near Felix Dlamini Road over the weekend.
It's understood the medic was driving in the area on Saturday and came across the scene of a crash.
After assessing the situation, she reportedly went back to her vehicle to fetch equipment to assist.
The police's Robert Netshiunda says at that point another vehicle bumped into her car.

An argument broke out between the medic and three men who'd exited their car.
He says one of the men allegedly drew a firearm.
The paramedic also drew her licensed gun and shot him.
"The man was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound. The other two men went back into their vehicle and fled the scene. Police have since saved the firearms for investigation."
