KZN police crack down on illegal guns

Law enforcement agencies are hoping to rid KwaZulu-Natal's streets of illegal firearms.

Police say operations to make communities safer will continue.

This after four men were arrested and charged for being in possession of illegal firearms and ammunition this week.
Three men in their thirties appeared in the Ladysmith Magistrate's Court, while the fourth lined up in KwaMsane.
"Their cases were remanded for further investigations," says SAPS spokesperson Thulani Zwane .
He says the accused remain in custody.
