Last night, the State Capture Commission of Inquiry said it would lodge a criminal complaint against the former president for his refusal to appear before it.

On Monday, Zuma said he wouldn't cooperate with commission despite the Constitutional Court ordering him to testify.

Zuma has accused the inquiry of creating a narrative that he's corrupt and claims he has a personal relationship with Zondo which he says compromises the commission's integrity.

Dumisani Thango of the MK vets in KZN believes Zuma won't have a problem testifying if Deputy Chief Justice Zondo recuses himself.

"He has issues with him so we can be called again and sit before any other neutral person. We don't have a problem with him coming up and defending himself and clearing his name when it comes to those criminal charges. He always said he wants to come forward and do that."

"Why do they put pressure on him and how does this law work because in this case, this man does not know what is there, is only serving the interest of particular factions in this country," he adds.
