KZN matrics checked for food poisoning

The KZN Education Department says a group of matric pupils who fell ill due to food poisoning are continuing to receive medical attention.

The pupils from Intuthuko Special School in Hlabisa have been attending a study boot camp.
Some of them fell ill on Friday.

"Learners who were complaining about stomach pains, upon checking it was discovered that it was food poisoning and the Department of Health sent a mobile clinic to attended to those and the situations has been stabilised," says Education spokesperson, Muzi Mahlambi.
Mahlambi says that none of the pupils have been hospitalised.
He says the Hlabisa Gateway Clinic will continue to provide them with medical assistance.
