KZN man sentenced to life for killing his children

The Pietermaritzburg High Court has handed a KwaZulu-Natal north coast man who pleaded guilty to the murders of his two children a double life sentence.
Nkosinathi Ndlela confessed to killing 3-year-old Una-Mandla and 8-year-old Sambulo in their Esikhaleni home, near Richards Bay last month following an argument with his wife.
"We are overjoyed that the perpetrator has received what is due to him," said Khoza.
Activists have been calling for harsher sentences to be given to those convicted of attacking women and children.
A series of protests have been held in major South African cities and regions demanding action be taken by the necessary authorities.
Meanwhile, eThekwini male employees marched to the Durban City Hall earlier.
They want men to be more active in calling out bad behaviour amongst each other. They also encouraged men to play better roles in protecting women and children.
The children were hanged.

Social Development MEC, Nonhlanhla Khoza has welcomed the sentence handed down to the 38-year-old."We are overjoyed that the perpetrator has received what is due to him," said Khoza.
"In fact, this has been long overdue."
