A delegation from the US met with Premier Willies Mchunu, eThekwini Mayor Zandile Gumede and other provincial and municipal representatives at a business seminar at the Hilton Hotel in Durban yesterday.

"On the academic side, they are looking at water research and how they are able to share their knowledge and their experiences," said Matjie.

"Nevada is a desert territory, but they have sufficient water and they have been able to develop the necessary technologies over the years."

The aim of the event was to promote engagement between companies in the construction, logistics, aerospace and water technology sectors, among others.
