KZN gov vehicles torched allegedly by protestors

Cooperative Governance MEC Sipho Hlomuka has condemned the attack on the Pietermaritzburg's Provincial Disaster Management Centre.
Last night, two vehicles were allegedly torched at the centre in Mkondeni by unknown assailants.
Cogta's spokesperson, Senzelwe Mzila claims the attacks are linked to a protest which happened earlier yesterday.
"The The attack is believed to be related to the unrest that occurred yesterday in the Mkondeni area when residents in the Sacca informal settlement participated in a protest.

Hlomuka has condemned this blatant attack on the department and called for the speedy arrest of the culprits
As a result of the alleged attack - the department's moved their vehicle fleet to another location to avoid further damages.
