KZN father allegedly opens fire on family, killing two sons

Police in KwaZulu-Natal say they've launched a probe after an elderly man allegedly opened fire on his family, killing two of his sons in a suspected domestic dispute.
It's understood the 63-year-old man shot his 58-year-old wife, three sons, as well as a 44-year-old neighbour on Saturday night in Ntandakuvela in the north of the province.
Police spokesperson Nqobile Gwala says the father then turned the gun on himself.

"Two were declared dead at the scene and the other three were taken to hospital for medical attention after they sustained gunshot wounds.
"The circumstances surrounding the incident re still being investigated."
Charges of murder, attempted murder and inquest are being investigated by Mahlabathini police.
