KZN farmer accused of killing three women

A KwaZulu-Natal farmer accused of killing three young women while driving under the influence of alcohol will know his fate next month.

Martin Rolf Kassier appeared before the New Hanover Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
The 31-year-old is facing charges of drunken driving and culpable homicide.
Police earlier confirmed that Kassier was intoxicated when the incident occurred in the Dalton area in February.

"The accused appeared in court and the case was postponed to 29 July 2025 for the regional court decision,” says KZN NPA spokesperson Natasha Ramkisson-Kara.
"He is charged for three counts of culpable homicide and one count of driving under the influence."
